Principal's Message - April 2025

Dear BMS Bobcat Families,

I hope all of you had a great spring break. We are now in the home stretch for the completion of the 2024-2025 school year. The next months of school have many social and academic activities for your students. We will have field trips and 8th grade promotion activities to attend, while still staying very focused on preparing for the AASA state test that will be taking place this month. As our students and teachers prepare for this very important state assessment, families can help by making sure their students are present in school and reviewing homework and practice materials. Unless there is an emergency or your student is ill, please make sure they are at school and on time. Help your student be prepared to learn with plenty of rest the night before and a healthy breakfast each morning.

As always, please take the time to go to PowerSchool and check your student's grades. Your student’s grades will be final before you know it, and it is imperative that we push hard to finish strong both academically and behaviorally. Students who earn failing grades this quarter may be subject to retention. Students who misbehave may be disqualified from attending school activities.

Please be sure to check the website to see our Quarter 4 Sports Schedule for baseball and track and field.

Thank you for your continued commitment to the future of our school community and remaining On Track as we complete an amazing school year. Please know that your dedication and loyalty to Benson Middle School is the biggest reason for our success.

Your partner in education,

Thomas P. Webb Sr., Proud Principal
