Suicidal Thoughts

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness.

    Being online can be fun, but your safety matters. Protect your personal information, think before you post, and treat others with respect. If someone sends a hurtful message or makes you uncomfortable, stop responding and tell Mrs. Fuentes, a parent, or another trusted adult.     Friendship disagreements can be hard. This agreement can help you explain what happened, listen to another person’s perspective, respect boundaries, and make a plan for getting along. Ask Mrs. Fuentes for help using it or figuring out your next steps. If you feel unsafe or think you’re being bullied, tell a trusted adult.

    Grief & Loss

    Losing someone you care about can bring many feelings, including sadness, anger, confusion, or numbness. Your feelings may change from one day to the next, and there is no set timeline for grief. These resources can help you understand your feelings and explore ways to remember your loved one. Mrs. Fuentes or another trusted adult can listen and help you find support.

    Bullying Help & Speaking Up Safely

    You deserve to feel safe and respected. If you experience or see bullying at school, on the bus, or online, tell a trusted adult. You can ask for help even if you aren’t sure whether something is bullying. Share what happened, when, and where. Help others safely by including them, checking in, and getting adult support.

    If someone is in immediate danger, get adult help right away or call 911.
