I am a full-time 6^th grade Language
Arts teacher at Benson Unified School District and a salon owner. I have my
Associates Degree in Liberal Studies from New York. I then relocated to Sierra
Vista, Arizona and transferred to Wayland Baptist University where I completed my
Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences and my Master’s Degree in Education. Then
I continued my college education and obtained my second Master’s Degree in
English through Southern New Hampshire University. I love doing hair and
working with children. I have been doing hair for over 15 years and I have been
working with children for almost 20 years. I started out being a nanny at a
young age and worked as a teacher in after school programs and summer programs
after high school. That was also when I became a licensed cosmetologist and
enrolled in college. Since then I have started my own salon business and worked
with Imagine Charter Schools in Sierra Vista. After Imagine Charter School
closed I had the opportunity to work for Benson Middle School, where I have had
the wonderful opportunity to work with 6^th graders and middle school
staff members.
