As we move into the final month of the school year I would like to thank the Awesome 8th Grade Teaching Team for organizing all of the important celebrations coming up the last week of school. They have worked hard and put much effort towards making sure it is memorable for our promoting students and their parents.

I would also like to recognize the amazing substitutes who have filled in at BMS this school year. These highly qualified “guest teachers” have been able to deliver lessons and administer effective classroom management with an On TRACK focus. We are blessed to have them.

Part of this school year's success has been the outstanding participation numbers that represented all of our extra-curricular clubs and teams. It has been a great experience for those participants in Mountain Biking, Academic Team, Track, Baseball, Cheer, and all of the other opportunities provided for our students beyond the school day. These positive opportunities would not be available if it was not for our awesome BMS Coaches and Sponsors who have dedicated their time and resources to our students. Both coaches, sponsors, and student athletes represented the district with class and character and were good role models. Our students not only succeeded during games and competitions but most importantly they were champions in the classroom where their academic and behavioral efforts flourished.

Finally, I would like to thank all of the students, staff, and parents for their positive attitude, support, and tireless efforts in making Benson Middle School a place where students want to learn and adults want to work. We would not have had a successful 2025-2026 school year without your focus towards Leaving a Legacy.
